नई दिल्ली, 10 अगस्त 2026. Artificial Intelligence यानी AI के तेजी से बढ़ते इस्तेमाल को देखते हुए केंद्र सरकार ने युवाओं और कामकाजी लोगों को AI आधारित skills देने के लिए कई training और skilling programmes शुरू किए हैं. Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship यानी MSDE के अनुसार, National Council for Vocational Education and Training यानी NCVET, Directorate General of Training यानी DGT और Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana यानी PMKVY 4.0 के तहत AI से जुड़े कई programmes चलाए जा रहे हैं.
सरकार के अनुसार, AI और Machine Learning से जुड़े 116 NSQF-aligned और NSQC-approved Qualifications, National Occupational Standards और Micro-Credentials मौजूद हैं. इनमें Generative AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models यानी LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Robotics, AI Security, AI Ethics और AI Governance जैसे क्षेत्रों को शामिल किया गया है.

PMKVY 4.0 में 53,449 लोगों को AI से जुड़ी ट्रेनिंग
PMKVY 4.0 के तहत IT-ITES, Telecom और Life Sciences जैसे क्षेत्रों में AI और AI-enabled job roles के लिए training दी जा रही है. इन job roles को industry और Sector Skill Councils के साथ consultation के आधार पर विकसित किया गया है.
30 जून 2026 तक PMKVY 4.0 के तहत 53,449 candidates को AI-related job roles में trained या oriented किया गया, जबकि 25,466 candidates certified हो चुके हैं.
AI से जुड़े training programmes AICTE-affiliated colleges, private universities और colleges, engineering colleges, ITIs, NIELIT centres, PMKKs, Skill Universities और अन्य संस्थानों के नेटवर्क के जरिए संचालित किए जा रहे हैं.
AI के लिए 116 approved qualifications और micro-credentials
NCVET के regulated ecosystem में AI और Machine Learning से संबंधित 116 qualifications, National Occupational Standards और Micro-Credentials उपलब्ध हैं.
इनमें Generative AI और Agentic AI जैसे नए क्षेत्रों के साथ Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, Machine Learning और Deep Learning जैसी technologies शामिल हैं. इसके अलावा Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Robotics and Automation, AI Security, AI Ethics और AI Governance पर भी training और skill development के लिए courses और standards तैयार किए गए हैं.
इसका उद्देश्य अलग-अलग sectors में AI के इस्तेमाल से जुड़े skills को formal training ecosystem से जोड़ना है.
ITI में भी शुरू किए गए AI courses
Directorate General of Training यानी DGT ने vocational training में भी AI को शामिल किया है. इसके तहत ITIs में Artificial Intelligence Programming Assistant का एक साल का course शुरू किया गया है.
इसके अलावा 240 घंटे का Generative AI course और trainees के लिए 7.5 घंटे का AI micro-credential भी शुरू किया गया है. Compulsory Employability Skills curriculum को भी revise किया गया है, जिसमें AI और Green Skills से जुड़े modules शामिल किए गए हैं.
Craftsmen Training Scheme के तहत 32 New-Age Courses की सूची में Artificial Intelligence Programming Assistant के अलावा Cyber Security Assistant, Data Annotation Assistant, Drone Pilot, Drone Technician, Geo Informatics Assistant, Industrial Robotics and Digital Manufacturing, Semiconductor Technician, Software Testing Assistant और अन्य courses शामिल हैं.
Microsoft और Edunet Foundation के साथ partnership
DGT ने Microsoft और Edunet Foundation के साथ मिलकर Artificial Intelligence Programming Assistant यानी AIPA course भी शुरू किया है.
2024-25 session में यह course 19 National Skill Training Institutes यानी NSTIs में लागू किया गया था, जिनकी intake capacity 504 थी. इसके बाद 2025-26 में इसे 23 NSTIs तक बढ़ाया गया और intake capacity 600 हो गई.
इन संस्थानों में महिलाओं के लिए National Skill Training Institutes समेत Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Noida, Patna, Trivandrum और Vadodara जैसे शहरों के संस्थान शामिल हैं.
SOAR के तहत करीब 5 लाख learners ने किया enrollment
NCVET की ओर से Skilling for AI Readiness यानी SOAR programme भी चलाया जा रहा है. इसकी शुरुआत AI literacy बढ़ाने के लिए चार foundational courses के साथ हुई थी. इनमें AI to be Aware, AI to Acquire, AI to Aspire और AI for Educators शामिल थे.
बाद में SOAR को बढ़ाकर 50 AI और AI-application-oriented NSQF-aligned courses तक किया गया. इन courses में AI for jobs, workplace productivity, sector-specific applications और inclusivity से जुड़े topics शामिल हैं. Courses Skill India Digital Hub यानी SIDH के जरिए NCVET-recognised Awarding Bodies द्वारा उपलब्ध कराए जाते हैं.
22 जुलाई 2026 तक SOAR courses के लिए 4,96,426 learners ने enrollment किया, जबकि 98,576 learners certified हो चुके थे. Courses पूरी तरह online और self-paced हैं, जिससे rural और semi-urban areas के learners भी इन्हें कर सकते हैं.
ग्रामीण और छोटे शहरों के युवाओं तक भी पहुंच
सरकार के अनुसार PMKVY 4.0 के training programmes को rural, semi-urban, aspirational और underserved districts तक भी बढ़ाया गया है.
AI और Machine Learning के अलावा इन programmes में Data Analytics, IoT, Drones, Semiconductors, Electric Vehicles, Green Hydrogen, Renewable Energy, Robotics और 5G Technologies जैसे emerging areas को भी शामिल किया गया है.
इससे AI और दूसरी नई technologies से जुड़े skills को बड़े शहरों तक सीमित रखने के बजाय अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों के युवाओं तक पहुंचाने की कोशिश की जा रही है.
AI से जुड़े job roles में हजारों candidates
PMKVY 4.0 के AI job roles के आंकड़ों में AI Business Intelligence Analyst, AI Data Architect, AI Data Engineer, AI Data Quality Analyst, AI Data Scientist, AI Database Administrator, AI DevOps Engineer और AI Machine Learning Engineer जैसे roles शामिल हैं.
इसके अलावा AI Solution Architect, AI and ML Junior Telecom Data Analyst, AI Development Associate, AI Devices Installation Operator, Artificial Intelligence Assistant और Foundation of Artificial Intelligence Technology जैसे roles में भी training दी जा रही है.
PMKVY 4.0 के AI job roles में कुल 53,449 candidates enrolled, 39,104 trained/oriented, 28,345 assessed और 25,466 certified दर्ज किए गए हैं.
